Our tea is ethically sourced & we strive to be kinder to our environment. 100% of our packaging is plastic free.
Conventional tea bags are traditionally sealed using plastic. These tea bags aren't compostable and only suitable for landfill. Here at Norfolk Tea Co we demand better, so all of our products are plastic free and 100% compostable. We have also invested in using recycled card for our cartons and push to be kinder to our environment we love.
We are a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, a not-for-profit organisation which brings together the tea industry with development partners, NGOs and governments to create a fairer and more sustainable tea industry for tea workers, farmers and the environment.
We only source tea from Rainforest Alliance certified farms. To date, the Rainforest Alliance has helped conserve the water, soil and biodiversity of more than 50M hectares of forest and farmland in 70 countries, improving the lives of more than 2M workers and their families.
Norfolk Tea Co uses 100% biodegradable tea bags & packaging

Recyclable and biodegradable outer boxes
Compostable inner bags composed of a plant based plastic-like material
Tea bags which are sealed without the use of plastic and are therefore fully compostable
Including all our products from tea, packaging, design are all sourced from local companies - keeping our miles to a minimum.
